„Staring at the empty aquarium that has seen countless fish pass through, one recalls the fish that once swam there. „
Now, these fish have become fossils, existing in the artist’s virtual aquarium rendered in 3D. These fossilized fish attentively observe the currently living fish, yet the living fish swim on, entirely unaware of their predecessors.
This work delves into the essence of existence and the weight of mortality. It reflects on how the traces of past lives and the passage of time impact present life, reexamining the meaning of ‘being alive.’ Through the continuity of time and existence, it questions the nature of life and how the cycle of life and death is perceived within living beings. Beyond merely recalling the past, this piece explores how individual existence is interwoven and intersected within the continuous flow of life.
