Fish in the Intersection | 2012

1-channel video, 01m 57s

Three fish tanks are stacked on top of each other, creating a unique space. In this overlapping space, two fish swim in their own way. They may live in one of the three tanks, they may be at the intersection of two tanks, or they may exist in a third, independent space that belongs to none of them. This situation forces the fish to imagine the point at which the boundaries of each fish tank become blurred. Through this, the artist aims to explore the nature of boundaries and the complexity of existence, which we often forget.
