The film revolves around the protagonist, Seung-min, who has always had an antipathy towards superstition. Seung-min has never believed in superstitions and has always scoffed at them as pointless and unfounded. However, one day, she decides to do the exact opposite of what she knows.
From then on, Seung-min encounters misfortune that she never expected, and she cannot tell if it is because she did the opposite of superstition or if it is simply a coincidence. The film questions why superstitions have been passed down for so long and what they mean, and explores the complex relationship between fate and belief through the consequences of doing the opposite of superstition.
